We recommend staying in Blowing Rock or the nearby area. Blowing Rock has a fun, walkable downtown and access to hiking trails.

There are a range of accommodation options, including hotels, short term rentals and campgrounds. There is also dispersed camping in Pisgah National Forest.

Recommended hotels: Meadowbrook Inn, the Inn at Ragged Gardens, The Manor, and all the little motels around town.

Recommended campground: Julian Price Park Campground

We recommend making reservations early as this is a holiday weekend and Blowing Rock is a tourist destination.
